Nick was born and raised in Michigan, and currently resides in Macomb Township. After attending Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, he graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. While at Indiana, Nick was a sportswriter for the school’s newspaper. He graduated from the Michigan State University College of Law in 2010.
Nick has dedicated his entire career to civil litigation, where he has obtained incredible results for his clients as a trial attorney. In 2018, Mr. Caponigro was honored as one of the top 30 “Up & Coming Lawyers” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly, and was also selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. Prior to joining Draugelis & Draugelis in 2023, Nick was a senior partner at a large civil litigation firm, with offices in Troy and Detroit.
In his free time, Nick is an avid reader and golfer, enjoys watching boxing, basketball, and football, and traveling with his wife.
